Hey everyone, I'm both scared and excited because I'm thinking of dyeing my hair for the first time. I've always been a blonde with naturally fair skin, and I've maintained simple styles so far. But now that summer's coming, I want a subtle cool tone that feels like a meaningful update without being too shocking or clashing with my complexion. I've scrolled through a curated gallery of cool summer hair colors on a beauty site and saved a few ideas virtual hair color try on free , but I'm not sure how to choose the best shade that would work with my natural coloring. Since I've never done anything other than my natural color, I'm scared of ending up with something too dark or harsh, especially because I'm pale and have blue eyes. I want to keep it light and flattering but still fresh. Have any of you with comparable coloring tried soft cool tones like ash blonde or light silver tints? Did it feel like a notable shift or just a small tweak? Also, any advice on what to avoid or how to prepare for the dye process would be very useful.
